IPSF World Congress Utrecht- The Netherlands

Hello ATEPers!! 

J'espère que les vacances se passent bien ! Pour notre part les vacances sont déjà fini :'( Eh oui l'ATEP reprends le boulot pour vous préparer-on l'espère- des journées portes ouvertes mémorables! 

Mais avant tout laissez-moi un peu vous parler de l'escapade de l'ATEP aux Pays Bas! Comme chaque année, l'ATEP rejoint les autres associations d'étudiants en Pharmacie de partout dans le monde à l'occasion du congrès mondial de l'IPSF!

Pour ceux qui ne le savent pas, l'IPSF (en l'occurrence son assemblé générale) élit chaque année un pays et une association pour être l'hôte du plus grand événement réunissant les étudiants en Pharmacie du monde entier. Cette année ce fut le tour de la KNPSV et des Pays-Bas d'organiser le congrès. 

C'est ainsi que 15 ATEPers (chanceux ATEPers si j'ose dire) ont fièrement représenté la Tunisie du 30 juillet au 9 Aout à Utrecht. Utrecht est une ville estudiantine (un peu comme notre Monastir) où le vélo est le moyen principal de locomotion et le calme, le sérieux et la ponctualité sont les mots d'ordre (beaucoup ont eu du mal à s’y faire d’ailleurs !) Le congrès s'est très bien déroulé commençant par la cérémonie d'ouverture, le Discover IPSF, les GAs (General Assembly) en passant les Workshops sans oublier les Symposiums et en terminant par le Gala Night. 

Au passage un grand bravo pour tout l'équipe organisatrice de ce congrès ! 

Ahh!!! J’ai failli oublier l'essentiel! L'EMPS! La Tunisie comme je l'ai déjà mentionné sur le blog a présenté sa candidature pour organiser le prochain congrès régional et bien vous savez quoi? ON l'a eu !! Je vous annonce fièrement que la Tunisie sera l'hôte de l'EMPS 2014 :) (Plus de détails à venir sur le blog rassurez-vous)

Hello ATEPers !!
I hope you’re enjoying your holidays ! Vacation for us is long gone :’( In fact, ATEP is back to work to prepare what’s gonna be- we hope- an amazing integration week!
But first of all, let me tell a little bit about the trip we took to The Netherlands! Just like every year, ATEP joins other pharmacy students’ associations from all over the world for the IPSF World Congress.
For those of you who don’t know, each year the IPSF (or its GA to be more accurate) elects a country and an association to host the biggest event that reunites pharmacy students coming from every corner of the world.
This year, it was organized by KNPSV, The Netherlands.

So 15 ATEPers (lucky, lucky ATEPers !) went and brought honor to our dear Tunisia from the 30^th of July to the 9^th of August in Utrecht.
Utrecht is a student town (kind of like Monastir here) where cycling is the main means of transport and where quiet, solemnity and especially punctuality are the watchwords (many had a very hard time getting used to that by the way).
The congress itself went great! Starting by the Opening Ceremony, Discover IPSF, the GAs then the Workshops, not to mention the Symposia and finally the Gala Night.

By the way, congratulations to the whole organizing team (RC and HC) for the amazing job they did!

Oh !! I almost forgot ! The EMPS ! As I said in a previous post, Tunisia has applied to organize the next regional symposium of the EMRO region and guess what ? We got it!
I am very proud to announce that Tunisia will host the EMPS 2014 J (more details are coming soon don’t worry)

EMPS in Tunisia, Let's make it happen !

Eh oui! c'est vrai déjà un mois d’absence! Mais bon cette fois on est de retour et pour de bon!  . Et oui! même en été, l’ATEP ne chôme pas !


Cette fois, l’ATEP voit grand et vise l’international .


On s’explique : comme vous le savez déjà, l’ATEP est membre de l’IPSF. Pour ceux qui ne la connaissent pas , l’IPSF est la plus grande association d'étudiants en Pharmacie au monde et comporte pas moins de 84 pays membres. Au niveau régional, elle est représentée par quatre bureaux : AFRO (African Regional Office)
                                  APRO (Asia-Pacific Regional Office)
                                  PARO ( Pan-American Regional Office) 
                                  EMRO (Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office) dont fait partie notre association.
C’est dans ce contexte qu’on a décidé d’envoyer notre candidature en vue d’accueillir le 5 ème EMPS (Eastern Mediterranean Pharmaceutical Sympsium) qui est le premier évenement annuel pharmaceutique destiné aux étudiants de la pharmacie de la région de la Méditerranéenne Orientale en particulier et du monde entier en général .


Le vote se déroulera pendant le 59ème congrès de l’IPSF qui aura lieu à Utrecht , Pays-Bas du 1 au 10 août ( un article dessus arrivera bientôt ;) ).

 VIVA ATEP, VIVA EMRO VIVA IPSF et VIVA LA PHARMACIE !

Yes! We are back after one month absence. Indeed, even on holidays, ATEP is far from idle !

This time, we decided to take up a new challenge . As many of you know, ATEP is a member of IPSF (International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation) which is the leading international advocacy organisation for pharmacy students. IPSF represents over 350,000 pharmacy students and young graduates from 84 countries worldwide.

Regionaly, the federation has four offices : AFRO (African Regional Office)

                                                                     APRO (Asia-Pacific Regional Office)

                                                                     PARO ( Pan-American Regional Office) 

                                                                     EMRO (Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office).
Since ATEP is part of EMRO, it is bidding to host the 5th EMPS (Eastern Mediterranean Pharmaceutical Sympsium) next summer. 

EMPS is the annual meeting of pharmacy students of The Eastern Mediterranean Region in particular and from all the world in general.
The elections will be held during the 59th IPSG World Congress in Utrecht, the Netherlands (which we will tell you more about in few days ;) ).

First Exec meeting..First Post

Salut les ATEPers! Eh oui ! L'ATEP rejoint aussi la Blogoshpère maintenant ! N'oubliez surtout pas de nous suivre régulièrement.

Nous avons longuement réfléchis au sujet de notre premier billet et nous nous somme finalement décidé pour un article vous relatant un peu l'ambiance qui régnait lors de la 1ère réunion du bureau exécutif pour le mandat 2013*2014.

Le 4 Juin (tout de suite après la fin des examens oui !) les 14 exécutifs élus lors des élections du mois d'avril se sont réunis à 9h du matin (trop tôt à mon avis) pour la 1ère réunion du mandat. Une réunion très mouvementée nous attendait avec surtout à l'ordre du jour le recrutement pour les 2 postes vacants des chefs comité Culture et Comité Nature.

Entre une ambiance bonne enfant, quelques moments de sérieux et de « kabsa » par notre présidente (chouwaya sérieux ^^) la réunion a été fructueuse ! 

En deuxième moitié de réunion quand les résultats du recrutement fut annoncé, Inès ( Mme la présidente ^^ ) appella nos deux élues Hella et Fatma et les invita à nous rejoindre pour la suite de la réunion ( Seul Fatma a pu venir d'ailleurs vous la verrez sur les photos)
Laissez-moi juste vous dire que l'an prochain vous ne serez pas au bout de vos surprises chers ATEPers! Pas un événement n'a été laissé au hasard (Motus et bouche cousue je n'ai le droit de ne rien vous révéler pour le moment!)

VIVA ATEP et VIVA LA PHARMACIE!

Hello everyone! Yes ATEP is on the blogosphere now too! Don’t forget to check in on us for more updates!

We’ve spent a long time thinking about what our first post in the blog should be (we wanted it to be perfect!) and we finally decided to write an article about the first executive meeting of the year, just to give you guys a little sneak peak on what’s happening behind the scenes!

On Tuesday June 4^th (yes right after exams!) the 14 executives elected in April met at 9 in the morning (too early in my opinion...) for the first meeting of the mandate. It was bound to be an animated gathering during which we had to make a very important decision:  who would become chairperson of the Culture and Nature committee. It wasn’t easy but we’re proud of our new members!
We discussed pretty much everything about the upcoming events of the year but we also managed to enjoy ourselves all together (This year’s team is really amazing!) so I would say that, all in all, the meeting was very successful!

In the second half of the meeting, the results were finally announced. Ines (Our dear president) called out the two winners Hella and Fatma and invited them to join us, but only Fatma managed to come (you'll see on the pictures by the way)

I can’t exactly give you more details on what we talked about (I wouldn’t want to spoil the surprise!) but let me just tell you this: Prepare yourselves for an amazing school year!
